Sister Celebration

Hi to all my crafty friends, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing a shabby chic style card using many of the beautiful floral and lace style dies.

My card measures 8x5 Inches and I started by adding a patterned layer of paper to my card which I added Frantage, distressed at the edges and added some ink. I also added a couple of corner accents and my double layered inked butterfly.

My next couple of layers were torn across the page and my small doily and leaves inserted behind. These layers were added with foam strips for extra dimension.

My main image was mounted onto my frame with foam strips. I added Frantage, my word Sister and a Flower into the girl's hair for extra detail.

My flourish was cut down and all the parts placed in at different angles. Adding my flowers and extra leaves finishing with accents of Pearls.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and good luck to everyone entering the Fortnightly Challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs.

An Apple A Day

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by my blog. Today for my DT post with Craft Consortium I am using another image from their 3D Decoupage pack.

The decoupage is simple to build up and has clear instructions for the beginner. I like to use Pinflair Glue between my layers rather than foam pads.

You will notice my apples look shiny and have a small dome shape on them. I got this effect adding a little Glossy Accents onto them.

I cut my doily in half and accented behind my layers.

My flowers have been die cut using the Santoro Flower dies with the coordinating cardstock.

Cheery Lynn Designs Blog Hop Sept 2016 - Gift Envelopes

Hi Everyone, we are all so excited at Cheery Lynn Designs today to be launching the cutest dies called Gift Envelopes in our current Blog Hop.

These small cards and gift envelopes have a super range of miniature dies to decorate your cards and envelopes.

I decided these cards and envelopes would look great as a gift for someone that appreciates handcrafted cards. So I decided to make a small box to give them in, using my Scorpal Board. You will see a tutorial on their blog should you be unsure of how to work out your measurements.

As you can see on my box I have added the ever so cute little birds with a spot of Black Liquid Pearls.

I added my flower into the centre of my bow and attached my tag with the word wish, which had been cut down from a Gift Envelope sentiment Wishes.

The following photos show my cards.

Our Tiny Doilies fit perfectly onto these cards.

I also made some extra envelopes, stamping a design onto the opening to customise them.

Aren't these dies amazing. Please carry on the hop where you will see my Teamies showcasing several other dies in this new range.

Love for you to leave a comment to let me know you have stopped by and carrying on with the hop until you get back to Cheery Lynn Designs for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree.

Your next stop on our blog hop is LISA.

Someone Special

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by to see my scheduled DT post for Cheery Lynn Designs. Today I am sharing a shabby chic style card with you all, which measures approx 8" x 5".

I added Frantage to my layers of paper tattering at the edges and adding some stitching for extra detail.  I accented my doilies between my layers and added my border strip. I just adore the lacey look of Cheery Lynn Dies.

My cute Whimsical Bird I popped a little silicone glue behind his wing and double layered with a coordinating paper. Finishing with black liquid pearl in his eye.

Then onto the fun bit of arranging my flowers on my card. You will notice I have Flowersoft, Pearls and Stamens in the centres of my flowers for added detail.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and good luck to everyone entering the Current Challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs.

Hugs on a Windy Day

Hi everyone, at present I am going to be taking a short break from Blogland, so my posts for the next few weeks will be scheduled ones. I will continue to catch up with all your creative projects via Facebook and Instagram. I appreciate all your comments left on my blog and hope you contiue to visit during my break.

Today for my DT post with Craft Consortium I am showcasing some more of the gorgeous new range from Santoro called Kori Kumi.

My card today shows the sweet little 3D Decoupaged characters. This comes with a background to use as a topper layer on a card but today I decided to make my own background using the beautiful coordinating papers. I love how it looks like she is delivering a parcel on a windy day.

I added my bunting with silicone glue and a few gems for some sparkle.

Birthday Wishes

Hi fellow crafters, thanks for stopping by today to see my latest DT card for Cheery Lynn Designs using one of their fabulous Cardmaker dies. This is a scheduled post as I am taking a break from Blogland for the next few weeks but will continue to see your crafty makes on Facebook and Instagram.

I started by matting and layering Craft Consortium's Wild Rose papers tattering them at the edges for a shabby feel. My Cardmaker layer I added foam dots behind to lift for extra dimension, I love the intricate design of the cardmaker overlay on my card.

Then onto my favourite part arranging my flowers which have been shaded with Distress inks and Flower Soft added to the centres.
Finishing off with my butterfly, added bling and my drop shadowed sentiment.

I hope you feel inspired to join in the Current Challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs with a chance of winning a $20 shopping spree.
