Merry Christmas

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some last minute Christmas inspiration for a fairly quick card to make should you have forgotten someone last minute or are in need of a Gift Card.

My card has all been cut out in glitter card for lots of sparkle. My Icicles have been drop shadowed with silver glitter card under the white glitter card to make them 'pop' from the white background. I also drop shadowed my sentiment.

My whimsical car I cut out in white card and then cut out my elements in glitter card trimmed the sections I wanted and glued on top of the white card, adding a couple of gems onto the wheels.

Decoupage Baubles

Hi everyone, this is a scheduled DT post for Craft Consortium as I take a break from Blogland and Facebook. Today I am sharing some inspiration with a small selection of the amazing Decoupage Papers and exquisite embellishments all available at Craft Consortium.

My MDF Baubles I rubbed some Gesso over with a baby wipe and once dry added a layer of Mod Podge and layered my Decoupage Paper on top. I sanded around the edges when this was dry with a small sanding block, this gives a lovely neat edge. I then added a layer of Mod Podge Sparkle ontop of my Decoupage papers for added sparkle.

To give the Vintage look around the edges of my Baubles I pressed the edges into my Versamark ink pad and heat set Embossing powder.

Now to the fun part of adding lots of pretty embellishments, flowers and diecuts to decorate my Baubles. Hope you enjoy looking at the photographs and you feel inspired to make some of these which would also look amazing hanging as tags on a gift bag.

Christmas Time

Hi everyone, thanks so much for stopping by today. If you missed my last post below you will see I am taking a break at present from blog following and Facebook.

Today for my DT post at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some more Festive Inspiration using some of their beautiful Dies and pretty Maja Design Papers.

I started by fussy cutting my figure and inking at the edges, matting and layering onto my tattered inked layers.

I layered a mixture of foilage inking my leaves at the edges, adding Glossy Accents onto my berries and cutting out my Snowflakes from Glitter Card and adding some shape into them. Finishing with some flourishes and a Poinsettia along with a sparkly gem and Accents of Stickles for added sparkle.

Sweet Kisses

Hi everyone, I have decided to take a break from Facebook and my Blog until the beginning of next year. With the loss of our Fur Baby and health problems I feel I need some time out. So my future posts are all scheduled and I will just be popping on to Instagram when I can at present.

Today for my DT post at Cherish The Memory I am sharing with you all some more inspiration using the beautiful Die Cut pads from the Studio Light Range along with one of their stamp sets. These pads are super fun to create with and ideal for this time of year when you need several Christmas cards. Cherish The Memory have a fab range of this collection so do check them out HERE.

For this card I chose a variety of the Die Cut designs inking and tattering at the edges. My main images I added some stamping using the mistletoe wreath in the stamp plate and white Embossing powder. I put a little cut into my stamp so I was able to stretch it out to go around my circles. I also stamped some tiny stars and embossed with a pink glitter powder.

My foilage I shaped on my Embossing mat, adding Ink to the edges and some Stickles and ribbon flowers.

Finishing my card with some sparkling gems and more Stickles.

Which Way to Santa ?

Hi everyone, today for my Design Team post at Craft Consortium I am sharing some Festive inspiration using one of their fantastic Decoupage Papers. They have a vast range of brilliant designs for every type of crafter so do check them all out HERE.

I bought my sign paper mâché sign in Hobbycraft and I gave it a layer of Gesso paint applying it with a baby wipe. It's far quicker this way and you don't end up with brush marks. Once dry I used Mod Podge Matt and glued my Decoupage paper on top. On this design I opted to layer on the sheet and folded and glued in place the papers as I wanted to see the full effect of the paper rather than it being torn in this design.

Once all in place I added another layer of Mod Podge but this time the Sparkle one, which certainly does make it glisten when the light catches it.

I added Icicles cut from Craft Consortiums amazing Non shed glitter card, lots of die cut Snowflakes filled with sparkly Gems.

Rudolph is an MDF shape I covered in different Embossing powders adding his red sparkly nose and attaching Santa's Magic key to his neck with silver ribbon.

Here is a selection of other pictures for you to enjoy.

I do hope you feel inspired to make some Festive Home Decor.

Cheery Lynn Designs - Flower Power Blog Hop

Hi everyone and a warm welcome to my blog. Today at Cheery Lynn Designs we are having a Blog Hop sharing inspiration with lots of the beautiful flower Dies available at Cheery Lynn. Please be sure to leave a comment as you arrive back at Cheery Lynn Designs to be in with a chance of winning a $20 shopping Spree which is amazing especially with their end of year sale on, or why not join our new rewards program.

My card today has lots of Shabby layers on it using Craft Consortiums beautiful Wild Rose paper pad. I love this pad for making my flowers as they look so pretty with all the shades.

I used strips of my Japanese Lace Garden Frame to add a lace border on my layers. My butterflies have tiny flowers added into the centres of them.

My Chrysanthemum's have been off set at different angles and some added in bud form for a natural look. My Sweet Christine I have used 4 layers to build them up adding Gems into their centres, also adding a mix of different leaves.

My sentiment was stamped with Archival ink and layered onto my tattered Die Cut layers with foam strips for extra dimension, adding another couple of tiny flowers for more detail.

Tis the Season

Hi everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I am sharing some Festive inspiration using their super fun new Brad the Reindeer Die.

I started by cutting out my background layers all in glitter card for lots of sparkle. My snowflake I layered two different snowflake Dies to form my snowflower adding lots of bling onto it. This was then placed onto my Holly Flourish which I cut into sections and placed around my snowflower.

Brad was cut out in a mixture of kraft, cream and glitter cardstock. I added a little Distress Ink onto the edges of his face. The antlers I used Distress Powder and a white Embossing powder for added texture.
